Nicole Gose hails from Honolulu, Hawaii and has been performing in some capacity ever since she could speak. Professionally, she started acting in films such as “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, “Lost”, and “The Orb” in Hawaii, and later turned to composing music for commercials, theatrical plays and scoring to film. During this time, she had rekindled her love of acting by taking improv classes for fun through UCB, Groundlings, and Second City and decided to get into voice acting in 2014.
She has since been part of national commercial campaigns (Google, Hawaiian Airlines), animation (Boss Baby: Back in the Crib, Spidey and His Amazing Friends), videogames (Ace Combat 7, Fire Emblem Heroes), live announce (Art Directors Guild Awards, That’s Voiceover!), audiobooks (The Musubi Murder, various childrens stories) and live action dubbing and looping (Strong Girl Nam-soon, Daily Dose of Sunshine). Nicole specializes as a character actor and loves the challenge of quickly swapping from “wise old woman” to “precocious young boy”, a “gracious Queen” to a “low-browed barbarian”, or from “cute furry critter” to “rampaging zombie” (all actual examples!). She has been running weekly non-profit improv workshops in Los Angeles for the past eight years, catered to other voice actors, utilizing what she’s learned from both her training and her own experience in the booth.
For fun, Nicole still composes music; singing and playing mostly piano, guitar, and ukelele. She loves working on her art; drawing and painting dark and twisted creatures, utilizing a stream of consciousness technique. She’s also a huge tabletop nerd and loves playing boardgames, creating her own boardgames, and writing/DMing roleplaying campaigns with friends.
